This Grade 1 Surface Vertical Rod Device provides superior two-point latching security, securing the door at both the top and bottom of the frame. Designed for wide stile and flush doors made of metal, wood, or composite materials, the 1810 features a Pullman bolt at the top and a simultaneous direct pull bottom deadbolt. A key performance feature of this device is its specialized linkage: when unlatched, the device holds both bolts in the retracted position until the door is shut, preventing "floor-dragging" and hardware damage.

While this configuration is "Exit Only," it is fully compatible with Accentra Exit Device Trim, including the 420F Series Escutcheon or 440F Series Rose Trim, for applications requiring exterior keyed access.
