This heat-activated bolt eliminates the need for a traditional bottom automatic flush bolt and a dust-proof strike, simplifying both the installation and the floor maintenance. Crafted from high-grade stainless steel, it ensures your fire-rated openings remain compliant with building codes while maintaining a clean, hardware-free floor.

Precision Fire Protection & Safety

• Heat-Activated Engagement: When temperatures reach 230°F, the internal plug and plastic cover melt, allowing the bolt to automatically project and lock the door leaves together to prevent fire spread.
  
• Eliminates Floor Obstructions: By replacing the bottom flush bolt, you remove the need for floor-mounted strikes, creating a barrier-free transition that is easier to clean and safer for foot traffic.
  
• UL Listed Compliance: This bolt is UL Listed for up to and including 20-minute fire-rated openings when used in conjunction with a Rockwood 2940 or 2905 automatic top bolt on wood doors up to 4' x 9'.
  
• Durable US32D Finish: The Satin Stainless Steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance and matches modern architectural hardware finishes.
