Usage Recommendations by Door Weight
To ensure proper closing force and hinge longevity, Hager recommends the following configurations:
- Up to 70 lbs: 1 Spring Hinge (Use BB1279 ball bearing hinges for the remaining two).
- 70 to 115 lbs: 2 Spring Hinges (Use BB1279 ball bearing hinge for the remaining one).
- 115 to 150 lbs: 3 Spring Hinges.
