Functional Performance: Dormitory/Exit (8822)
- Standard Operation: The latchbolt is retracted by the lever from either side.
- Deadbolt Security: The 1" stainless steel deadbolt is projected by a key on the exterior or a thumbturn on the interior.
- Automatic Locking: Projecting the deadbolt automatically locks the outside lever to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Anti-Panic Egress: A critical safety feature where operating the inside lever retracts both the latchbolt and the deadbolt simultaneously, automatically unlocking the exterior lever for seamless re-entry if desired.
