The Rockwood 2945 Combination Flush Bolt Set (formerly model 1945) is a premium architectural security solution for pairs of wood doors. This set combines a self-latching top bolt with a fully automatic bottom bolt, ensuring the inactive door leaf is always secured when the active door is closed. UL Listed for wood or plastic-covered composite fire doors (up to 4' x 8' and rated up to 1-1/2 hours), it is the premier choice for schools, hospitals, and commercial office suites.
High-Security Automatic Functionality
- Self-Latching Top Bolt: The top bolt automatically engages when the inactive door is closed. It stays securely latched even when the active door is opened, releasing only when the user presses the integrated plunger button.
- Fully Automatic Bottom Bolt: To ensure a barrier-free floor and ease of operation, the bottom bolt automatically retracts when the active door is opened. It features a low 5 lbs. maximum closing force for smooth operation.
- Thermal Fire Lock: In the event of a fire, an integrated thermal lock automatically secures the inactive door under high-heat conditions, maintaining the integrity of the fire barrier.
- Adjustable & Damage-Proof: Includes an override feature to prevent damage if the bolt is blocked, and the bolt head rod is adjustable up to 1/2" for a precision fit against the strike.
