Office & Entrance Function (F109) with Thumbturn Control
The G05 Office Function provides versatile security management for private professional spaces. The outside lever is controlled by a high-durability interior push/turn button (thumbturn), allowing for two distinct locking modes:
- Push Button Locking: Pressing the button locks the outside lever until it is released by a key from the exterior or by turning the inside lever for egress.
- Turn Button Locking: Pushing and turning the button keeps the outside lever locked even when the inside lever is operated or the door is closed. The button must be manually turned back to the vertical position to unlock the exterior.
- Emergency Access: Key override always allows authorized entry from the outside, while the interior lever provides constant free egress for life safety.

The Sargent 28-10XG05 BHW is designed for high-performance integration into new or existing facility door preps. For doors thicker than 2", please specify the 31- Option. This chassis is fully compatible with Sargent High-Security Key Systems, including Degree®, Signature, and Keso, as well as Interchangeable Core (IC) formats for rapid re-keying.
