Specialized Hospitality Functionality
The 10XG50 offers the precise control required for guest room management. When the guest is inside, depressing the interior pushbutton locks the outside lever and projects a visual occupancy indicator (standard on G50) at the cylinder face, signaling "Do Not Disturb" to housekeeping. To ensure guest safety, the deadlocking latch is retracted by the key from the outside only when the guest has not engaged the privacy button. However, in emergency situations, a specialized Emergency Key can retract the latch even when the pushbutton is depressed. Rotating the inside lever always provides immediate, free egress and automatically releases the pushbutton.
