The Sargent 351 POT Door Closer is a heavy-duty, commercial-grade solution designed for high-traffic environments where durability and a clean aesthetic are paramount. As a flagship model in the Powerglide® 351 Series, the 351 POT features a Push Side Standard Track Arm, which mounts the track on the door face or frame to eliminate the traditional projecting arm "elbow." This low-profile design is ideal for institutional settings like schools, hospitals, and office buildings where a modern look and resistance to vandalism are required.
Constructed from a one-piece die-cast aluminum silicon alloy with 14% silicon, the 351 POT provides industry-leading strength and wear resistance, certified for over 25 million cycles. It features adjustable spring power from Size 1 to 6, allowing it to be fine-tuned for interior doors up to 5'0" wide. While the track arm provides a streamlined appearance, please note that Push Side Track applications generally do not meet ADA accessibility requirements due to increased opening force.

- Tamper-Resistant Hardware: All adjustment valves are controlled by an 1/8" Allen wrench and are captivated within the body to prevent unauthorized removal or damage.
- Fire Safety Certified: UL/cUL listed for use on fire doors (up to 3 hours) and conforms to UL10C and UBC positive pressure standards.

Installation & Customization Options
The Sargent 351 POT is non-handed and shipped with self-sticking templates to simplify installation. For maximum stability on wood or mineral core doors, it is highly recommended to use the included Sargent thru bolts.
- Available Finishes: Stocked at DoorwaysPlus.com in three high-durability enamel finishes: EN (Aluminum), EB (Dark Bronze), and EAB (Brass). Additional powder-coated finishes (ED, EP) and architectural plated options are available upon request.
- MicroShield® Finish: An optional antimicrobial silver-based coating is available to permanently suppress the growth of bacteria, mold, and fungus on the closer surface.
- Optional Track Accessories: Can be upgraded with a Track Bumper (POTB) to assist backcheck or a Hold Open (PHT) mechanism to secure the door at a specific angle.
