Sargent 80 Series Wide Stile Replacement Rail — 8700 / 8800 / 8900 Series
Keep your Sargent 80 Series exit device in service with a direct-fit replacement rail for wide stile panic hardware. This rail is engineered specifically for the current-generation Sargent 80 Series — the square-end design manufactured since the early 2000s — and is compatible with the 8700 Series Surface Vertical Rod (SVR), 8800 Series Rim exit device, and 8900 Series Mortise Lock exit device on wide stile metal doors.
Replacing a worn, damaged, or non-functioning rail restores single-assembly push-bar operation without requiring full device replacement, reducing downtime and installation cost on active commercial egress doors. Available in configurations for Non-Rated Doors and Fire-Rated Doors to match the UL listing requirements of the opening. Note: Cylinder dogging is not included as an optional rail configuration at this time.
Important Compatibility Check: This replacement rail is designed for the current 80 Series only. Before ordering, inspect the end of the existing device — the correct end cap profile is square. Devices with a non-square (rounded or legacy-profile) end cap are an earlier generation and require a different part.
