McKinney HT4A3786 CC8 5" x 4-1/2" Hospital Tip Electric Hinge, 5 Knuckle, Full Mortise with US26D plated finish
McKinney Concealed Circuit (CC) option electrified hinge is an intermediate connector that passes a constant flow of current between the source of power (jamb) and the devices in the door (electric locks, exit devices, etc.). Brass eyelets add protection and durability to the hinge.
The ANSI/BHMA A156.1 Standard requires the hinge wire meet a minimum of 350,000 cycles. These hinges have been cycle tested and passed 3,700,000 cycles, over ten times the ANSI standard requirement. McKinney electric hinges are UL listed, and may be used on fire rated doors up to 3 hours.
Four Amp continuous @ 24 volts AC or DC per circuit, 16.0 Amps intermittent duty (pulse) for 300 milliseconds
28 gauge wire, 8 Wire = 4 Circuits
Hinges are supplied with 8" (305) leads as standard.
Optional finishes and 18 gauge wire are available by quote
Oil Impregnated Bearing (TA Prefix)
One piece, non-ferrous, and self-lubricating bearings ensure even longer-lasting wear and resistance to clogging, corrosion, and hinge failure.
Hinges are for use on high traffic in commercial construction. Hinges are furnished with All Wood Screws (1 1/4" x 12 FPHW) and All Machine Screws (1/2" x 12-24 FPHM). Commercial Grade Hinges are .190 thickness with template screw hole pattern.
