A Combination door shoe and kick plate
with Eco-V Gray Vinyl Insert
The 221 Series U-Shaped door Shoe with combination kick plate provides added protection to your door. It seals gaps up to .5" at the bottom of the door opening, and can protect against traffic abuse and restoring badly rusted or damaged doors. The U shaped casing extends up the face and back of the door 3", for doors 1.75" in thickness. It features Eco-V Vinyl Fingered insert for proper sealing and flexibility.
• Door Bottom Channels are punched with elongated slotted holes for easy adjustment. Furnished with #6 x 5/8" Pan Head SMS
• To ensure proper operation, the bottom of the door should maintain a 1/2" clearance from the floor or threshold.
• This door shoe is supplied with a Eco-V insert - item number EV9 (standard finish is gray, black available by special order)
• Door Bottoms are furnished net length (36" or 48") Field trimming will be required to fit door width. Exact net lengths are available by order
• The Eco V Vinyl Insert operates effectively within a temperature range of -4° to +122° F. (-20 to 50 Celsius) Temperatures exceeding 122° F will cause it to soften and lose its elasticity.

The PemkoPrene (PK) Insert operates within a temperature range of -22° to +122° F (-30 to 50 Celsius) and is capable of withstanding brief periods of higher temperatures.

• Certified GREENGUARD Gold for Low Chemical Emissions
• Air Infiltration Tested – Tested to ASTM E-283-04 (2012) for low air leakage allowance; allows no more than 0.3 cfm per square foot at 1.57 psf.
• Sound Tested – Tested to ASTM E90 – 2009 in a single or in multiple sound seal configurations for sound attenuation in an opening
• Smoke Tested – Tested to UL 1784 and meets the requirements of NFPA 105-2013 for smoke leakage in an opening; allows no more than 3.0 cfm per square foot at 0.10” water column (about 75 Pa).
• Fire Rated – Tested to UL10B Standard Fire Tests and UL10C Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies
• BHMA Certified – Tested for performance with regards to the requirements in:
• ANSI/BHMA A156.22 – Door Gasketing and Edge Seal Systems
